It seems like a lifetime ago that Ukraine metal band JINJER brought their progressive brand of metal-core Downunder for the very first time. It was March 5th 2020. Since then the world has changed… DRASTICALLY!
If you knew that this was going to be the last live show you would see for an indefinite period of time, you would not be disappointed with what was delivered. Those who are fans and have seen them play live previously it would be no surprise to read how impressive they were in Melbourne. Energy, aggression and technical mastery are cornerstones that JINJER brings to the stage.
Local support was provided in brilliant style by metallers, MASON and incredible dynamic duo, THE BLACKTIDES.
This Melbourne show was recorded and has since been made famous around the world, with a CD/Video released showcasing the energy and ferocity of this incredible live band.
For me, it was the final gig prior to the COVID-19 lockdown that has taken such a massive toll around the world. As the last live show for the foreseeable future, I was definitely not disappointed!
