THE GUY BEHIND THE CAMERA
Award winning pet photographer Paul Tadday is based in Melbourneβs eastern suburbs, right on the doorstep of the picturesque Yarra Valley
My goal is to give you and your pet an incredible photography experience, and to design and create artwork that you will absolutely love to display.
"Photos tilt your memories toward the good experiences you've had, simply because you're more likely to take photos of joyful times. That's important, because due to a phenomenon known as 'negativity bias', it's easier to recall bad times than good ones. Having snapshots of the latter keeps them vivid in our minds." - Gretchen Rubin
Patience is a virtue and as a pet photographer, I have it in spades! Itβs probably the biggest asset needed when working with animals. I take the time we need to make sure that you and your pet are comfortable, so we can get the most amazing images possible.
You may think your pupster wonβt stay still long enough, or may be too uncooperative for a photo session. But, a great photo of your furkid only takes 1/1000th of a second! There are ways and means to get that perfect pose and itβs really not as difficult as you might think.
My bag of βtricksβ includes an endless collection of silly noises, movements and treats which are very difficult for even the most stubborn of furkids to ignore.
There's nothing more rewarding to me than to unveil the final printed artwork to my clients, to see their response when they view the results of their photo session for the very first time; and to share the joy they experience in seeing the personality of their best friend captured in print.
If you don't think photographs are important, wait until they're all you have left!
